Auto Accident

Preliminary on March 9, 2020 at approximately 9:37 p.m. in the area of Van Dyke and Merkel, 39-year old male suspect was driving a blue 2019 Dodge Charger when he rear ended a white 2011 Lincoln, driven by a 41-year old female and a 14-year old female passenger (both transported to local hospital by medics in stable condition). The Lincoln then struck a gray 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix occupied by the 30-year old male driver and 28-year old female passenger (both transported to local hospital by medics in stable condition). The suspect was arrested at scene and transported to the Detroit Detention Center for OWI. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
