Non-Fatal Shooting

Preliminary on March 3, 2020 at approximately 3:40 p.m. in the 17700 block of Fenkell, a physical altercation occurred between a 22-year old female and two suspects (a male, 26-year old, and female, 25) as a result of a car accident in the parking of the location. Upon being assaulted, the 22-year old female produced a weapon and fired a shot striking the male suspect. After the shooting, the male along with his 25-year old female fled the location and drove to the hospital. The 26-year old male was listed in critical condition. The 25-year old suspect was taken into custody. The 22-year old female shooter was also taken into custody. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated. Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run Accident

Preliminary on March 3, 2020 at approximately 7:50 p.m. in the area of Gratiot and Harper, 9-1-1 received a call of a body in the middle of the road. Officers responded to the location and observed a male (a John Doe, approximately 40 to 50-years old) in the middle of the intersection, unresponsive with trauma to the body. Medics responded and pronounced him deceased. Suspect is unknown. The circumstances surrounding this incident is still being investigated.
