Armed Robbery

Preliminary on February 14, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m., in the area of area of Carrie and Iowa, the 46-year old female victim making a turn at the intersection when the suspect who was in a white vehicle with a plastic bag over the rear window bumped her vehicle. The victim and suspect exited their vehicles. At that point, the suspect produced a weapon and demanded her purse and jewelry, then escaped in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated. Non-Fatal Shooting

Preliminary on February 15, 2020 at approximately 1:40 a.m., in the 9300 block of Kentucky, the 28-year old male victim was walking when he was approached by the suspect who announced a robbery, then fired shots, striking the victim in the body. The suspect the fled northbound on Kentucky on foot. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital by medics and is listed in stable condition. Suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing a black beanie, red hooded sweater and black pants, armed. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated. Armed Robbery

Preliminary on February 15, 2020 at approximately 1:05 p.m., in the 15600 block of W. Warren, the suspect approached the counter with his hands in his pockets. He implied he was armed and demanded money from the 35-year old female employee. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was given to the suspect. He then fled on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. Suspect is described as a black male, approximately 50-years old, 5’7″, medium build, light complexion, full beard. He was last seen wearing a black and red jacket, black pants and black shoes. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated. Non-Fatal Shooting

Preliminary on February 16, 2020 at approximately 12:15 a.m., in the 14900 block of Greenfield, the 57-year old male victim just left the store when he heard shots and felt pain. Shots may have come from two males seen having an altercation in the parking lot. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
