Fatal Shooting

Preliminary on January 14, 2020 at approximately 1:34 a.m., in the area of Hayes and Houston Whitter, a Jane Doe, black female, around 30 to 40 years old, was fatally wounded and sustained multiple gunshots to the body. A male suspect is in custody at this time. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated. Updates will be provided once received. Fatal Accident

Preliminary on January 14, 2020 at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the area of Warren and Evergreen, two vehicles were involved in a fatal car accident. The victim, black male, 34-years old, driving a Blue/Gray Nissan Altima pronounced deceased. The suspect, who was driving a green jeep Cherokee, fled the scene on foot into Dearborn Heights. The suspect was arrested in Dearborn Heights. Again, this is preliminary information, subject to change upon further investigation.
