Non-fatal shooting

Preliminary on January 12, 2020 at approximately 12:05 a.m. in the area of E. McNichols and Arlington, the 19-year old male victim was walking when a black older model sedan pulled up with three suspects inside of it and attempted to rob the victim. Someone from inside the vehicle then fired a shot, striking the victim in the body. The victim was privately conveyed to a local hospital and is in stable condition. Carjacking

Preliminary on January 12, 2020 at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the area of Gratiot near Mt. Elliot, the 52-year old male victim was driving southbound on Gratiot when he was involved in a minor accident with the suspects who were in an unknown silver vehicle. After the victim and suspects pulled over to check for damages, the 3 suspects demanded money and the keys to his vehicle. A weapon was not seen, but was implied. One of the suspects entered the victim’s Burgundy 2018 Nissan Rogue and fled the scene. The other two suspects fled in the silver vehicle. No injuries were reported. Non-fatal Shooting

Preliminary on January 12, 2020 at approximately 2:25 a.m. in the 5700 block of Otis, the 25-year old male victim was shot by the suspect who was in a white Ford Focus. The circumstances pertaining to this incident are being investigated. The victim was conveyed to the hospital by DPD unit. He was listed in stable condition. Non-fatal shooting/Stabbing

Preliminary on January 12, 2020 at approximately 1:40 p.m. in the 15600 block of Manning, the two victims (female, 27- years old, and male, 29) went to the location to confront the suspect. It turned into a physical altercation and the suspect stabbed the male victim. As both victims began to run outside of the location, the suspect fired shots striking the female. Both victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries. No suspect information at this time. The victims are being uncooperative. Additionally, while the suspect was firing shots, a bullet went into a house located in the 15800 block of manning. No injuries were reported.
