Non-fatal Shooting

Preliminary on December 3, 2019 at approximately 1:55 a.m., in the area of Greenfield/Grand River, the 29 year old male victim was traveling with a friend in a vehicle when they were hit by an unknown truck in the rear of their vehicle. The driver of the truck then pulled alongside of them and fired shots, striking the victim in the body. He was listed in temp. serious condition. The circumstances of this shooting is still being investigated. Updates will be provided once received. Armed Robbery

Preliminary on December 3, 2019 at approximately 2:30 a.m., in the 2300 block of Sturtevant, the two female victims (63 and 52) were sitting in a vehicle when the suspect pulled up in a newer model Chevy Malibu, or Impala, exited the vehicle and demanded their belongings. The suspect then escaped with the victims purses. No injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a black male, 25-30, approximately 6’0”, light complexion, short hair, wearing a black hoodie, armed. The circumstances of this shooting is still being investigated. Non-Fatal Shooting

Preliminary on December 3, 2019 at approximately 3:23 a.m., in the 12600 block of Santa Rosa, the 32 year old male victim brought his child’s mother B/F/36 to his house and began physically assaulting her. The victim’s wife (suspect) observed the incident and attempted to intervene. The victim started assaulting her. The suspect then retrieved a weapon and shot the victim. She then fled the scene to a location in Southfield where she called police. Southfield PD detained her and called DPD. She was arrested and transported to the DDC. The other victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for her injuries. The victim was listed in critical condition.
